Big John Klemetsen trains and coaches his boxer son Ole a.k.a. The Golden Viking. Home videos follow Team Klemetsen's fights, from the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona to the European Championships to Ole's coming out as a pro in the US. Once Big John realizes Ole is just a pawn in the big business game of professional boxing, Team Klemetsen struggles to decide whether or not to give up. The family has sacrificed so much for Ole's career, but Big John is dad before he's coach and must draw a line between pushing and protecting his son. What is a shot at the World Championship title worth? What is the value of a loving relationship between father and son? After years of relating as coach and athlete, manager and client, can they shift back to their familial roles? Can they connect beyond boxing? A tough and tender love story between father and son.
